Directed by: Tom Costello

Phantasmagoria by Jack Horton Gilbert. A darkly comedic horror play where a group of teens gather to an isolated house on Halloween night. United by a shared fear of a series of mysterious disappearances that have plagued their small town for years, they’ve come to perform an ancient ritual to end the terror once and for all…by ritualistically sacrificing the New Kid in Town.

Things don’t go as planned, tensions rise, alliances shift, and the line between friendship and betrayal blurs. Amid the shifting paranoia, bickering, and moments of terror, the group is forced to confront not only what waits in the dark but their own insecurities, hidden feelings, and fears.

As the night pushes on and the boundaries between the real and supernatural grow hazy, Phantasmagoria explores themes of trauma, sacrifice, the obligations we have to one another, and the lengths people will go to keep themselves safe. With a mix of dark humor and chilling suspense, the play delves into the complexities of growing up, friendship, and the dangers of tampering with forces beyond control.
