Dr. Adilia Yip (Hong Kong) is a marimbist and artistic researcher based in Belgium. Chosen by the marimba, Adilia has fallen in love with this huge wooden keyboard from the very beginning. Her goal is to perform the impressive sonorities of this hidden pearl for every music lover. In this US debut at The Tank, she has selected a diverse concert program to reveal rhythms and tunes that are tailor made for the instrument by renowned composers across the globe. New York based jazz drummer Ilya Dynov will join the concert to enhance the colors and grooves.
