Theatre with no time to spare! Gi60 celebrates it's 16th year of collaboration and global community: 100 plays in two international locations: Gi60 US at The Tank in NYC and Gi60 UK at Leeds University, UK. Gi60 US will present 50 original plays in 50 minutes by writers from around the globe: from Australia to Israel, and Los Angeles to London! A fearless ensemble performs 50 stories of the zeitgeist ranging from new love to old conflicts; Gi60 has something for everyone.August 27, 28 and 29 at 7:00 pm, Aug. 29 at 3:00 pm. On Sunday August 30 only, the young actors from Acting Out! Conservatory perform Gi60#NextGen, a family-friendly set of 25 plays at 3:00 pm.
Gi60 has been featured on NPR and BBC, blossomed into a book with an anthology (One Minute Plays: A Practical Guide to Tiny Theatre by Steve Ansell and Rose Burnett Bonczek, Routledge Press), and we've filmed and uploaded nearly 2000 plays available for viewing on the Gi60 YouTube Channel.
