Moon Show

March 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th at 7 PM

Written and performed by Ben Moniz

Featuring Ben Holbrook, Laura Galindo, and Rebecca Vineyard

Director: Nick Auer

Designer: Reuven Glezer

With the Artemis program set to send humans back to the Moon in the 2020s, what can we learn from America’s first journeys to another world, half a century ago? Can manifest destiny be separated from the drive to explore and discover? In Moon Show, playwright/pilot Ben Moniz explores the parallel histories of the Apollo Moon landings and the Vietnam War via the Educational TV that got him hooked on space.

*Please note that this performance will be presented at the Tank's in-person performance space at 312 W 36th St. All attendees and artists will be required to display proof of two doses of an approved covid vaccination before being admitted to the space.
