From the lifesaving power of impersonating a Ukrainian drag queen to adventures in brightly-painted public nudity, THIS SPARKLING WORLD is a storytelling show about learning glitter as a second language, living in a trans body, and figuring out how to make room for the unexpected.

This Sparkling World is written and performed by Elana Lancaster, a storyteller, LGBT health educator, and workshop facilitator who lives in Brooklyn. He's a Moth StorySLAM winner, co-hosts the monthly show Take Two Storytelling, and has been featured at The Story Collider, Hot Mic with Dan Savage, Queer Memoir, Big City Stories, The BTK Band, Long Story Long, and other shows around the city.
