Half Empty is an evening of three comedic one-act plays by Jack Spagnola. Watch as a relationship built on a lie shrivels like a plum into a prune, as a woman juices her wedding photos, and as a couple investigates buying babies off the Internet. Half Empty invites you to sit back, relax, and watch relationships that are just trying to stay afloat.

Cast
Erica Lupinacci is thrilled to be producing and performing in her first production at Dalliant. She's a recent graduate of Hampshire College, where she met Jack Spagnola. Erica performed in his 10-minute play, A Romance, which won the Midtown International Theatre Festival’s Short Play Lab in July 2014. This February, she starred in Spagnola’s The World’s Best Therapist, for which she won the Best Actress in a Play Award at the Strawberry One-Act Festival. Other favorite roles include Judy in A Chorus Line, Ginger in Zombie Prom, and Basha in God of Vengeance.
Annette Guarrasi began her acting career performing improv and sketch comedy in NYC, predominantly with Gotham City Improv. After her sarcasm muscles began to ache, she challenged herself with Shakespeare and was fortunate to study for a summer at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Eventually, she found that her love for writing comic character monologues led her to a Solo Performance Workshop with Kirsten Ames, where she created “Never Show the Ugly,” her first solo show. She is currently performing her latest solo venture, "It Ain't Pretty" (notice a theme?) and has the honor of performing in the ensemble of "Antonio & Shylock: Monsters" - a one-hour adaptation of The Merchant of Venice, both at Stage Left Studio on 30th Street in Manhattan.
Sa'ar Bakken is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and was a member of the Academy's 2013-2014 Company. In addition to the four play series Sa'ar was a part of, he also took part in the workshop and world premier of Douglas Carter Beane's Fairycakes, directed by Beane himself. Amongst other projects that Sa'ar has been a part of since finishing the company year, he has also written and drafted his own play, DrunkTank, which he plans on presenting at the beginning of the summer season this year.
Ben Gurin is a recent graduate of Hampshire College. His acting roles at Hampshire included Ned Weeks in a staged reading of The Normal Heart directed by and costarring Erica Lupinacci, Eddy in Fool For Love, and Stew Rosen in Collaboration by Jack Spagnola. In July 2014 he played opposite Lupinacci in A Romance written by Spagnola, which won the Midtown International Theatre Festival's Short Play Lab.
